Downtown Winter Park has an excellent trail system: the Fraser River Trail. From downtown Winter Park visitors can walk the paved Fraser River Trail all the way to Winter Park Resort. This is a wonderful way to stay active and walk on paved road with nice views as we wait for the trail system to dry out.

Avoid the mud, walk the Fraser River Trail.

When you stay in Destinations West's Sawmill Station 3 bedroom townhome, you can walk right out the door to access to the Fraser River Trail.

Plus, you can walk to restaurants, shopping, and coffee shops. I should mention, this townhome has a private hot tub to relax in after walking around Winter Park Colorado.

Flyfishing in Northern Colorado

Winter Park Flyfisher is located in the Ski Broker building in Fraser.
Guided fishing trips include Wade fishing on private or public water and float fishing on the Colorado and North Platte Rivers. Trips run 4, 6 or 8 hours of actual fishing time on the water.

For planning, add 2 to 3 hours onto the trip for other events.
For example, a 6 hour wade trip will probably take up a total of 8 hours.
